Instead, my burger had the frozen lines around the edge of the patty that you always see on the meat was cooked from frozen and the fries were typical fat fries. When I explained the discrepancy between what I ordered and what was delivered, the manager started by telling me that sometimes you don 't get what you hoped for and then proceeded to tell me about how she was the best server with the best customer service there is. She also let me know that the meat comes in fresh and then it freezes in their walk-in if it is not sold fast enough... So I pointed out to her that her menu says NEVER frozen, which I agree, should raise the price of the burger. That said, I did not get the shoestring fries nor did I receive a fresh/never frozen burger, but I did pay the full price and even tipped $1 on a to-go order). She tells me that I am the only customer who has ever had an issue with the fries and the burger and that there is absolutely nothing that she will do about it... that 's just what happens sometimes. I went there due to good reviews and I paid a high price $18) for a burger and fries due to its menu description. 3 hours later, I am very hungry again and went to have a conversation with the manager and received a terrible attitude. I am writing this review to pay it forward to the next person looking for a local burger spot with good food that fits the menu description AS WELL AS the price and a manager who will handle discrepancies with grace... This restaurant is not a place where you go for food
Food left something to be desired. The Poutine was under salted and the southwest salad was lacking flavor. The French Dip was quite good. I'm sure the rest of their menu is awesome, just wasn't thrilled with what we ordered.
My wife picked this place at random off of a small list for dinner. As many other reviewers have mentioned it's a cool space, lots of TV's (we watched Alfonso Ribiero host a funny game show) with an interesting drinks menu and standard pub fare. My wife ordered a meaty flatbread and I ordered a burger. On the menu, they state the burgers are 75% ground brisket. Customers get to order sauces on the side. There's an indescribable joy in biting into crispy beef that is juicy and tender on the inside... And I felt that in spades during dinner last night. I'm still thinking about that patty. Edit: Burgers are no longer ground brisket but somehow even more delicious. Their monthly rotating cocktail list is fun and there's always something interesting for gin lovers like us.
You would be hard pressed to find a better bar in this area. The food is pretty well prepared and the service is excellent. Everett’s overall laid back atmosphere mixes well with the responsive and friendly vibes from this bar. Music is kept at a modest volume which makes it easy enough to have conversations without distractions. Pork might be their main selling point, but imo the star of my dining experience was the Nutella Cheddar and Bacon Burger. A great spin on the peanut butter variant some people might be familiar with, especially for those who absolutely abhor peanuts. Their cocktail menu is also pretty good, loads of variety and creative use of bitters and spices makes the experience taste as modern as the atmosphere feels. This bar receives my highest recommendation, definitely worth a try.
Not a place to eat for a Celiac like myself, but my friend who went with me for a quick drink before a show said the food was yummy. Only one gluten-free alcohol , so again not great for a celiac. I did suggest they offer Ghostfish Gluten-free beer since it's local and very good. Hope they will try that and maybe have a small space where they can prepare and cook gluten-free food.
