Bluewater Organic Distilling - Everett

Despite the recent negative reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try, and I'm glad we did. The ambiance is stunning, featuring beautiful warm wood accents and a lovely waterfront view. The cocktails are inventive, the food is flavorful and fresh, and the service was excellent. Every staff member who assisted us was attentive and knowledgeable. We're so happy we didn't let those misguided reviews deter us from discovering our new favorite spot!

While the mixed drinks at the restaurant were the best I've ever had, the prices certainly reflect their exclusivity. Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow; we had to flag down the waiting staff just to order our drinks, and it took 20 minutes for them to arrive, even though there was only one other couple being served. To add insult to injury, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill! Isn't the tip meant to reflect the service we receive? It seems the owners aren't paying their staff adequately, making the customers foot the bill for their wages. As much as I love this place, I won't be returning or recommending Blue Water to anyone I know unless there are significant improvements soon.

Avoid this place at all costs! If you're looking for a restaurant where you’ll feel unwelcome and like a burden, then take a ride on the emotional rollercoaster that is Bluewater. We used to enjoy visiting, but something changed in the summer of 2022, and the service has gone downhill. While the cocktails are fantastic—5 stars, some of the best in the area—the food is also great, earning 4.5 stars. However, the service is a major disappointment, and deserves negative stars! The staff seem to lack a genuine desire to serve; any friendliness you sense upon entering feels insincere. They seem indifferent to your needs, and the automatic 20% gratuity they add means they have little incentive to ensure you have a good experience. This establishment isn’t a budget option with poor service—I’d recommend taking a stroll along the waterfront to Anthony's instead; it offers much better value and service.

Gluten- and soy-free diner here. Celebrated my best friend's birthday last Friday night, and had a great meal from everyone! My companions had the Chowder and Fish Tacos. I had the salmon with old grains, and it was excellent!! Juneau Elizabeth, my 6 years old Siberian Husky rescue, also thought so. Thank you for accentuating them and us, and good luck forward!

Popped in for a quick bite of dessert. Was delish! Definitely coming back to try food and drinks.
