Yes, the choice in the menu is not huge and some of the dishes may seem really simple but we tasted 4 altogether and they were all top-class. We also tried the dessert, and the chocolate mousse (made with olive oil! was splendid. Definitely coming back if we 're in Evora again!
The food is amazing and portions a quite large Service is also great and very nice It is also located in a street with some fresh air coming trough, which is very pleasant as in Évora weather is really hot. We absolutely recommend it !!
Nice setting, friendly service and fresh tapas. Big portions though, tapas to share. Five tapas for two women was more than enough.
Very nice place. Fantastic food and very friendly staff. Cozy place and quiet environment. Try the squid salat it’s amazing
This was a small, seemingly, family-run restaurant. There were only two staff members: the cook and the waiter. The service at Morcega Petiscaria was great. The young waiter was attentive and spoke English very well. He made a nice wine recommendation and insisted on opening the bottle for us to taste prior to our decision to purchase. The cook made several inquiries (translated by the server) to ensure that everything was to our liking. I ordered the legumes à brás. I would describe this as a vegetable hash or a shredded vegetable and egg scramble with shoestring potatoes. Regardless of the description, it was really tasty. Everyone in our group enjoyed the meal, the cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff.
