When I requested spicy sauce, the owner gave us a full bowl of it. The meal was worth the price and the wait. My friends and I had a wonderful time and left feeling satisfied and happy.
Bizarre place almost empty and has no signage up. I only found out the restaurant name by looking for the spot on Google maps. Food is a typical portion size and blandness for Exeter, but slightly cheaper than other places, which is great
We ordered at 5.10 pm on a Monday and waited a whole hour for delivery only to find that the noodles were more like spaghetti. The chow main had no veg and the sweet and sour sauce was watery with no flavour. Wasn't a good experience. It was so bad we actually returned it and went somewhere else !
My fiancée and I decided to try the hot pot at this restaurant. The staff was very welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. They had a variety of interesting toppings to choose from, some of which I couldn't even identify - which was really cool. I highly recommend trying the hot pot, and my favorite toppings were the fish balls, beef balls, tofu skin, and tofu knots. Don't hesitate, give it a try - you won't be disappointed!
They don't speak much Chinese. The attitude is fundamental. Cafe style. Stands on tables and chairs. Food is exceptionally good. Good serving size and delicious. Good and cheap. If only they would do more vegetarian food. It would help if they spoke better English, how I managed to get them to make vegetarian dishes for me. These Littke dining places around Exeter City dotted serve the many Chinese university students well. The image is of vegetarian spicy tofu and spicy vegetables.
