Zita's - Exeter

Having driven past Zitas about 4530 times we decided to eventually take a trip inside. We were the only ones in there for a fair amount of our meal but don't be put off if it is quiet, the food is excellent, well cooked local meat and top quality chips! I would say the decoration of the place isn't amazing and to pay £5 for a pint of local cider when an american beer is only £4 is a slight let down.

This was the best find. The moment you enter, the aroma of smoked goodness fills the resto. Affordable prices and staff that treat you like family. Mary and Tim allowed us to take a tour and explained the history of the place. When the food arrived, it was over the top. The taste and amount was more than the price. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely food, great selection of beers and ciders. Also very professional and friendly service. The lady that runs this place clearly takes a lot of pride in the business and this shows through.

I went at the last minute with a friend. The food was fabulous and the Service even better. I can’t wait to go again.

Went as part of a works Christmas meal. I've had bad experiences in the past with noisy atmospheres and terrible food but this place restored my faith. Being a very fussy eater, i kept to just chicken and chips with Vanilla ice cream and found it to be exceptional. Staff were very easy going and went along with the banter, it had a nice quiet and cozy atmosphere great if you're not into noisy bars and the like. All in all, a great experience and hope to return again soon
