La Bastide - Eymet

Très bon repas, pour un accueil très chaleureux. Les prix étaient tout à fait convenables au vu du repas avec foie gras : sublimissime

Had an excellent meal at La Bastide on Sunday. The restaurant must have taken onboard suggestions re lighting as the restaurant felt very warm and inviting with subtle background music. We had seafood casserole with a light curry sauce, confit of duck, steak with fois...gras, cheese plate and ice cream with Chantilly cream. Every dish was perfectly cooked and delicious. We can’t wait to return.

We were recommended by our campsite hosts to this wonderful, traditional restaurant. There are plenty of other restaurants with pretty terraces around the square, but this was indoors only as far as we could tell. Our dog was welcome too, and was given his own...bowl of water on our return there from having a drink in a local hostelry. We were incredibly impressed by our food. My foie gras starter was sublime. Every course was well presented, absolutely delicious and the young waitress wafted round the restaurant serving all the guests, completely in control of her job. She was super. This wasn't the cheapest restaurant in town but at for a really tremendous lunch we were extremely satisfied. The chef really knew how to cook.

We have visited this restaurant for several years now and although the service is till excellent we felt that the range of food on the menu and skill with which it was presence was not a patch on previous years disappointed!

A traditional French Restaurant with quiet ambiance and attentive service. The restaurant was air conditioned which was very welcome during the recent Heatwave. The menu was extensive and reasonably priced. The quality of the food was excellent.
