Chez Aro - Faaa

This place is great. a short 6min walk from the airport, eating is infinitely better than anything they can get there. it is filled with friendly locals and the fish is fantastic. only cash and no alcohol.

Large roulotte with friendly staff and huge portions. it also seems very popular among the locals and that is always a good sign. the menu is only in French, but they will explain it to them in English if necessary.

Fantastic jewel in the middle of the Pacific Ocean asking! had a wonderful time visiting tahiti, and this special place in papeete is wonderful. eating was amazing, the service was great, they treat all like family. when they were there, they can say how hard they try to do a great job, and they succeed by far.

Great small space just 5 6 minutes to walk from the airport. we were in the airport motel before we went to the house and found this local gem. they are only cash and accept only the local currency (xpf,) but this is really easy to get from the airport atm 5000xpf was more than enough for two people. the menu is in English so it will be easy to find out what they want, we ordered one of the ribeye with riddled and swan with fries and it was our favorite meal of the trip. the grill sauce they offer is so good! eating comes on a large plate, much larger than its standard plate. I'd rather eat here than the resort food I had traveled through.

This was a short walk from the airport and refreshing food! Far better than anything the airport had to offer and a quaint taste of Tahiti before leaving the country. Wonderful!
