Feedback gevenOur first visit to this restaurant was a three-day lunchtime. It offered a 15 euro set lunch menu with good choices, but we chose from the 22 euro set menu. I started with a liver paté and my husband had a baked mussel stew,both awarded.... I followed with pigs that were very good, although my husband was hard and chewing. Desserts were excellent. Wine was 4 euros a glass and the bottle was freshly opened at the table. There were only 8 people a day, but the atmosphere was more than formed by the charming picturesque building. The service of the owner was very attentive. The restaurant closes for winter, so we hope to visit again next year
A very good restaurant in Fabrezan. It is a step up from the usual and the price reflects this, but it is by no means expensive. The ambience is great, the food and wine list is primarily local products and large enough for every taste... and the service is competent and friendly. We were her many times if we want to have this special evening without breaking the bank. It is located directly in the old center where the roads are hardly far enough for a modern car, so parking is recommended in the main part of the city or on the main roads. You still don't have to walk more than 100 meters to get there from anywhere.
We visited Les Calicots for dinner while staying nearby. Fabrezan is typical of many villages it looks drab and uninviting. Externally the restaurant looks like most of the neighbouring properties, but as soon as you step inside, you know you're in for a treat!...Light and spacious, yet full of character and atmosphere, the design cleverly incorporates a courtyard which feels like an extension of the interior. The menu did not disappoint, with traditional regional dishes and some modern twists. Everything was exquisitely cooked, beautifully presented, and served by a discreet but attentive and friendly waitress. It's hard to fault this place, I'm only sorry that we discovered it right at the end of our holiday.
Cadre rustique aussi bien en salle que dans la cour enclavée ou vous dinerez sous les palmes d'un bananier.Les œufs pochés sont raffinés et gouteux. Le cassoulet délicieux et très digeste. Un bémol, le dessert aux mandarines était réalisé avec semble t-il des clémentines, ce qui n'a pas le même charme pour nous qui avons connu les mandarines....gouteuses mais pleines de pépins !Un choix de vin de qualité...essentiellement régionaux.
Accueil téléphonique pour réserver à la limite de la correction.Arrivé au restaurant, après une attente trop longue, mon ami demande la carte des apéros et cela devient impensable de grossièreté. La patronne répond qu'elle est occupée sans ménagement. Je lui fais remarquer qu'un sourire ne coûte rien, elle veut me mordre.Elle prend la commande des apéros et les renverse sur la table en disant que c'est parce qu'on la énervée.Le repas se passe bien, cuisine impeccable, servi par une autre personne.Au départ, nous nous faisons de nouveau agresser par la patronne qui n'a pas accepté notre remarque. Manque de politesse, agressivité alors que nous avons très bien dépensé. Je n'y remettrai plus les pieds même si la cuisine est excellente. On respecte ses clients car on en vit. Ici la patronne a été vulgaire et mal éduquée, cela est impardonnable. Cette dame nuit au restaurant, elle ferait mieux de ne plus y venir.. ,
