My last attempt to shop here, I tried to call in two items to pick up and she was so nasty, she complained as I asked for a corned beef sandwich then when I tried to add stuffed cabbage, that was somehow too much for her to handle. I suggest you go to Kosher Nosh in Glen Rock instead. Nice people, good food, much bigger selection. I called in the same two items and they were ready when I arrived. It was worth the extra few miles. Life is too short to deal with nasty people who are supposed to be in a service industry.
$31 for a pound of potato salad, half a pound of tuna salad, chicken salad and cucumber salad. The chicken salad was not even edible, overloaded with mayonnaise. I used to go here all the time many years ago and the food was excellent. Never again.
They saved us in a pinch when seder was upended by a covid diagnosis. We didn't order ahead and they still had a pretty good selection and good quantities for a seder of 15 ppl. Food was tasty and the service was very good. Fast paced old school jewish deli vibes. Not for the weak or thise who can handle the certainty and speed in which you are expected to order.
This was my go to place for smoked fish. I was used to poor service, but the food was good. No more. Out of sable and the nova was old and beyond edible. It stank when I brought it home. No more
I just went here this week for the first time. We bought Pickled herring. Wow it is fantastic. The staff is super nice and all of the food looks and smells delicious. Oh and we also brought home some chicken noodle soup. yummy!!
