River Road Hot Bagels - Fair Lawn

As long-time residents of Glen Rock, we have been loyal and incredibly happy customers of Bagel Gourmet on Rock Road for nearly 30 years. We were heartbroken when the owners decided to retire in March 2020. Since then, we’ve been on the hunt for a worthy replacement, which proved to be quite a challenge. However, our search came to an end last Tuesday when we “discovered” Hot Bagels on River Road in Fair Lawn! We returned today to grab a dozen of their “minis,” and they are absolutely DELICIOUS. They are perfectly crispy, not overly doughy, and taste fantastic. In a word, they’re PERFECT! We can't wait to try your sandwiches this weekend!

I absolutely love the bagels at this place! They offer a wide variety of bagel types and fillings, allowing you to create your perfect combination. The staff at the counter are always friendly and welcoming. My personal favorite is the sesame bagel with salmon and cream cheese—it's incredibly delicious! Plus, they open early in the morning, so you can enjoy breakfast there even if you arrive around 6 AM.

I stop here a lot for breakfast. I usually get a coffee and bagel. Sometimes I'll get a breakfast sandwich. I've always been happy with the quality of the food here. The staff here are very friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to get breakfast.
