Recently it’s been closed. Not sure if it’s for renovations or what because I have seen no signs of life around the building. Maybe it’s going out of business, but you seriously have to try to be bad enough to go out of business in an Army base Burger King. Soldiers would go regardless of poor quality just for lack of options outside the DFAC. On that note, DFAC is better anyway, so I would recommend saving your money before considering this as an option.
I have dined here twice, and both experiences were disappointing. The first time, the broth was lukewarm and not enjoyable. On my next visit, the sandwich was excessively soggy and overheated. The lettuce looked wilted and waterlogged from being microwaved, the pickles were scalding hot, and the tomatoes were so hot they felt like they had just come out of the microwave. I can honestly say this has been one of the least satisfying meals I've had in 14 years of military service at Fort Wainwright. Unfortunately, it seems to only get worse from here.
The first time I visited the restaurant, the food was great. However, during my second visit, my burgers and fries were cold and soggy. I decided to give it one last chance and when I asked if my burger would be fresh and hot, they informed me that they had just microwaved it.
The service was terrible, the food was cold, and I can confidently say that the meat had been sitting out for hours and was actually cold.
The hired who commanded is quite careless, she tried to close my order before I was even spoken. I'm sorry you hate your job.
