Chena's Alaskan Grill - Fairbanks

We arrived early and were seated. Took a while for our drink order and then it was misplaced. After a long day this was a bad start. Turns out we were there as they were paring down there wait staff, and it showed. After the slow start the services was great. Best Salmon I had in Alaska. We sat in side as we requested. On another trip we would have tried outside which look great. After dinner we had a cocktail on the bar deck overlooking the river. Very nice. My wife had the best Lemon Drop she has ever had.

Our server Liz was fantastic! Our table was ready when we arrived, and we were promptly served warm, fresh bread. The peppercorn-crusted scallops were simply delicious, and the vegetables were steamed to perfection. I highly recommend making a reservation, as Chena's is quite a popular spot!

Four of us had a wonderful dining experience. The server provided insight into how they manage to serve such fresh fish, which was expertly prepared. The other dishes were also well done, and the service was excellent.

This is a great restaurant with a charming covered patio for outdoor dining. The service was casual yet professional, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend Chena's Alaskan Grill to anyone looking for a fine dining experience in Fairbanks.

We recently took our out-of-town guests to Chena's, hoping to provide them with a high-quality dining experience in terms of food, service, and atmosphere. Once again, we were not disappointed. Chena's exceeded all of our expectations. We were offered three seating options: a riverfront deck, a covered veranda, or indoor dining. We opted for the spacious riverfront deck. Initially, our guests were unsure about this choice, but they were pleasantly surprised when we received the full menu instead of a limited 'deck menu' that usually features only deep-fried fast food items. We can't praise our experiences at Chena's enough, and we only wish they were open year-round. Unfortunately, they are only seasonal during the summer, so be sure not to miss out!
