Combined son's birthday and father's day dinner. very nice experience overall. Garlic bread, calamari, and prosciutto appetizers were tasty. Bolognese pasta, penne al vodka, and mushroom lasagna were great. Meatballs could have used more seasoning. Realize we're getting old, but it was very loud too.
The food was excellent. Mothers' Day, so busy, but the staff was very friendly and efficient. The restaurant is attractive but the tables are very close together. Overall, however, because of the quality I would highly recommend.
My children were taking me out for a Mothers Day dinner and had booked a reservation. We ordered off the menu but the server came back and said that they were out of Garlic bread and Osso Bucco which I had ordered. She mentioned that they had focaccia bread instead so we all agreed that would be fine. Then she came back and said they were out of that too This was very disappointing and poor planning on the restaurant side. We left and ate elsewhere.
Our server was friendly and very professional. He made sure we were attended and gave additional information about the menu. I wish I could remember his name. He is very tall with brown hair and eyes. I probably won't order the lamb orsco again because there was too much bone and not enough meat. However both the lamb and the orzo tasted very good. My dining partners had the eggplant parmigana and the pasta with mushrooms. They were very satisfied with their choices. The tiramasu was excellent! Many places have a heavy hand on the coffee flavor. This tiramasu was well-balanced and the generous portion made the $12 worth it and also easy to share. My husband loved the brownie cheescake. I very much enjoyed the mango mocktail. It was yummy!
