Lot of great options from former soviet union countries, especially from Azerbaijan. Ordered several items and they were all amazing!!!! The customer service is top notch. Mrs. Fidan was very pleasant and welcoming and explained the items and had huge smile the entire time!
Open for the last five years in a Fairfax strip mall is an oasis of Central Asian and Eastern European goods. This Azerbaijani market sells all sorts of products from frozen pelmini to chocolates to juices. If you have lived in this part of the world, you'll love it! In the back is a cafe that sells lunch items and pastries, including baklava. (It's among the best baklava I've had in the area. The service is very kind and attentive!
Tried their lamb samsa today absolutely heavenly! I ate every single little crumb of flaky dough and the filling was plentiful and juicy! This place is awesome! They have a little international grocery store and a bakery with daily specials. Visit their Facebook page to see all goodies they have to offer and call ahead if you?re in the mood for something specific as they sell out quick!
This is a cozy shop with a cafe inside. I really liked the service. The attentive lady at the checkout told us about everything they have in the cafe. I really liked the Olivier salad (they call it Stolichniy , as well as eclairs. The only thing that is strange is that there are no price tags on the goods. But anyway we will definitely come back there again.
Wow, this restaurant is a gem on the East Coast! We absolutely loved everything we tried, especially their shorqogal, green pie qutab, and Napaleon cake. If you are in the area, be sure to visit and support this business. The service was also incredibly friendly!
