GRILLY'S RESTAURANT - Fairfax

I pretty much stick to the Chicken Taco Salad, even though there are many other choices on the menu that are good.

Their burritos are very good, and for the price you can't beat it, the salsa is authentic and made on site, the meat is fresh and well prepared. Very good food!

Grilly's is a Fairfax institutionI used to go here a lot when I lived here about fifteen years ago, and it's changed a lot, but in a good way.

Hole in the wall Mexican restaurant in downtown Fairfax. Only has three tables. Food is consistently good. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Vegan options. Great fish tacos with mango salsa!

A second review for Grilly's! I was so taken by the Mill Valley location that I decided to give the Fairfax location a try. I had a chicken quesadilla and it didn't disappoint. With any melted cheese type entree it's always better to eat in so the cheese doesn't coagulate. Sometimes people don't understand that nachos quesadillas only taste good fresh! There was a small issue with my order, but the tall gentleman working at the counter was more than accommodating. A friendly, welcoming kind of spot when you're looking for simple, fresh Mexican food! Great music playing also! I think they were playing Jackie Mittoo that day. Cool vibe, would go back when in the area!
