The Chelsea - Fairfield

The owner and server, Lauren, spent the entire evening pointing and laughing at our table. As we were leaving, one of the employees ran out shouting at us after we had just paid $220, including a $30 tip. They even resorted to calling our friends offensive names. The staff was rude, and the food was unappetizing. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all; it really should shut down.

Everything was delicious! We started with the Brussels sprout appetizer, followed by a burger with fries, a chicken and potato entrée, a salad, and a pasta dish. For dessert, we enjoyed bread pudding and lava cake. The wine was delightful, and there was plenty of parking available nearby. Although the place was quite crowded and noisy, the food was outstanding overall. I would say my favorite part of the meal was the dessert and the fantastic service from the waitstaff.

A neighbor suggested we check out this place for their lobster rolls, which is what initially attracted us. Unfortunately, we found out upon arrival that they don’t serve them, which was a bit disappointing. We then opted for the Chelsea burger, ordering it medium well. When our food arrived, it was well done instead—quite the opposite of what we asked for! It’s hard to understand how they could mess up a burger like that. All in all, we probably won’t return, except maybe for drinks, as the bar does look inviting. The decor is nice, and the ambiance is pleasant.

This is a review that I forgot to write, from a visit in November. Not my first visit to The Chelsea, but this time I took friends. The tables were very nicely setup to observe all of the rules of social distancing. We had a lovely night out, and enjoyed the food The Chelsea is so famous for. It was my first time.... At The Chelsea in Fairfield and I am in love. They had the best chicken scarp entrée I?ve had in a long time?. The staff was amazing and the management made sure we had a great time. See you again very soon for another #margarita
