Feedback gevenThis place shouldn’t be on Uber eats or dash. Completely misguiding, didn’t realize it was just a meal prep place. Ordered steak tips expecting nice freshly cooked delicious meal. And it comes in like a Tupperware that’s been in the fridge and you warm up yourself. Which would be fine if that’s what I was ordering. But it’s not even close pretty disappointing. Haven’t tried the food yet, hopefully it’s good at least.
After my payment was processed and I received confirmation, the Google Tracker began its countdown from 55 minutes. As the time ticked down, I noticed that my order had been waiting for at least an hour and a half. I tried to contact DoorDash but found no immediate way to reach them, so I Googled the restaurant's number. When I calmly explained the situation and the confusing message I received, the person on the line, Mike, kindly informed me that this was a common issue in the area. He mentioned that there weren’t enough drivers available. When I asked if I should keep waiting, he suggested I cancel my order with DoorDash, as he didn’t see any order for me and couldn’t assist further. I asked for his name and whether I could call him back if DoorDash needed proof of our conversation regarding the order. He agreed. Shortly after hanging up with Mike, I received a message from DoorDash declaring that my order had been delivered. However, I checked outside my window and saw nothing. Despite my attempts to reach out to DoorDash through their customer service, the only option I found was to contact the restaurant, which I tried. Unfortunately, the number only provided locations with no live representatives available. I called Mike again to inform him of the lack of response from both DoorDash and the restaurant. He had previously mentioned that I was the twelfth person to experience this issue since they partnered with DoorDash. Instead of remaining calm, Mike began yelling at me as if I were the problem. I was simply trying to explain why I was frustrated and let him know that I planned to file a claim for a full refund with my credit card company. I felt extremely disrespected as a potential first-time customer. In response to his rudeness, I had to match his volume to remind him that I was just a customer, not someone close to him. Unfortunately, he persisted in his aggressive tone, prompting me to hang up. I imagine he’ll continue to receive calls about this issue since it seems that PLANIT EATS lacks the motivation to resolve it with DoorDash. If you're interested in this place and choose delivery, good luck. My first impression has definitely soured, so I’m not interested in trying their pick-up or dine-in services. I hope others have a better experience than I did. Apologies for the lengthy review, but it felt necessary to detail the hours I spent navigating this frustrating situation between the two companies, especially since obtaining a full refund seems to be no one’s priority.
I absolutely love this place! It's the perfect spot to grab lunch during my work break. The best part is that it has really helped me with my diet. The food is not only healthier but tastes even better than the junk I used to eat. Plus, it's ready for pickup right away. I go at least three times a week!
The staff here are incredibly friendly and are more than happy to double-check ingredients for allergies. I did deduct one star because I visited on Monday, May 30th. While I didn't eat the meals quickly, I ended up having to throw one away today due to mold, and I noticed the date on it was May 28! So, it’s definitely a good place to consider if you need to be cautious about allergens, but just make sure to check the expiration dates on the food.
