Kumars Restaurant - Fairview Park

I previously raved about this restaurant and took friends their, though the experience was not as good as the first time, we went again on Friday with different friends and had a terrible experience.Despite calling to book a table days in advance when we turned up they had no knowledge of our booking, and put us on a table under the tv, which the owners children were watching , consequently they spent most of the evening standing at the end of our table watching tv and turning the volume up, at one stage the little girl stood there eating a bag of chips while we waited for our food, the little boy came up and took a papa-dam out of the basket, and came back later to run his hand through our bowl of rice an took a handful, the place was freezing cold as were the plates and some of the food, at the end of our main course which the waitress spilled over the table and into the freinds drink, the table was cleared and we were not offered any dessert, drinks or any other service, so we left vowing never to return., I think it should be renamed "Faulty Kumars" as our experience had a startling resemblance to that other famous establishment.

We have passed this restaurant many times and thought , must try it, though being attached to a shopping centre it didn't look like the place you'd go for a special night out.In looking for take away food the other day this place popped up and we thought we'd give it a try. we ordered 3 different entree's 3 curry's with side dishes and dessert, the food was delivered within 25 minutes and I have to say was some of the tastiest Indian food I have had it was all delicious.I will certainly recommend this place to friends and family and hopefully get to dine in in future, either way I;ll be back for more.

We visited the K Reastaurant in Kumar resorts during our stay at Lonavala. We ordered Veg snacks and then dinner. We ordered Veg 65 and Paneer kadai. The food is terrible and pathetic with very poor service though there was no rush. We will never visit this Reastaurant again. Price is too high for the given environment.

Was passing by and thought we would try this local Indian restaurant. We ordered a chicken korma. We found the sauce was a bit thin and runny, but it was tasty. We will try it again.

Great food, friendly staff. Been here a few times and had several takeaways. Last time we had a 9 month old with us and owners/staff weer very friendly and helpful. They have now started cheap lunches too. Well worth the trip to the North East.
