Some reviewers have made comments about the service, please remember when the restaurant gets busy and hopping it's easy to forget to smile or day thank you .Especially with long lines.I've been there several times and stacey Amanda and Amanda's mother have all been wonderful and helpful. Cleaning and waiting on Christmas customers is a hard job. So I for their good food will be patient with a newer business.Thank you ladiesAnd the desserts are delicious

Great Food; Horrible ServiceThis place was recommended to us by several Uber drivers. We were in San Juan for a week, and we wanted to try some very good traditional local food. I love that mofongo. We went to this place a couple of times.It's a small, folksy restaurant in the heart of Old San Juan. We went in there late afternoon. It wasn't busy. It didn't take long to get a table. The food was amazing. They had some kind of tamal made not with corn but with... I forgot. But it was served like a tamal. Precious loved it. The second time we went back, she ordered half a dozen of them to take with her.I ordered mofongo one day and the next I ordered tostones with garlic chicken. This was amazing. We were just so blown away by the food.The service was truth be told horrible. Usually a server comes around every now and then to see if you need something, some salt, a napkin or another drink. We could see our waitress at the other end of the restaurant. She was chatting up a handsome young guy. Then after five minutes she sat down at the table with Sr. Guapo with her back to the rest of the restaurant. We asked another server to bring us the check. The second time we were there, our first waitress was sitting at a table looking at her phone. We got a dude waiter, and we were happy, but as our plates were getting empty he brought over the check. Usually they at least offer another drink or ask you if you want dessert. But no. Here's the check. It was weird.But the food was out of this world great.

The food was great, the service was excellent, and I will definitely be returning.
