Clare Don's Beach Shack - Falls Church

There's not much to say other than this place is great in every way. Great food, good vibe and great service. We got the hush puppies and fried pickles to start and both were excellent. Had the fish and chips and sand thing, really good and fresh. Can't wait to go back!

This restaurant is a fantastic spot with delicious drinks and appetizers. I appreciate that they offer vegan choices, and the fried pickles are outstanding. On our previous visit, we were really pleased with our meal and overall experience (definitely try the blackened tofu tacos), but on our most recent visit, we were a bit let down. We were initially seated at a table that was very uneven, which made it uncomfortable, but thankfully we were able to switch tables. The food was not terrible, but it lacked flavor and could have used some sauce or seasoning.

I always enjoy going to Clare Don's Beach Shack, and it's a great bonus that they allow dogs! The new larger space is wonderful as it means less wait time, although parking isn't as convenient with the expansion. However, they have arranged for plenty of overflow parking just a short walk away, so it's not a major issue. The service is attentive and the food is tasty. The side dipping sauces could be bigger, but they are happy to bring more when requested. Overall, it's a fun and laid-back atmosphere.

I met up with some friends at this restaurant that I never knew existed and had a fantastic time. The band was playing enjoyable music, we had a great table, and the food and beer were excellent. There were a lot of people around 5:30 pm, which kept the wait staff very busy, so the service wasn't as prompt as I'm used to, but our waiter kept everything flowing smoothly. It did take a while to receive our food, so be prepared for that if it's busy. Overall, it was a fun atmosphere with a beach vibe, and I would definitely recommend it.

I was really excited about this place because of the rave food and drink reviews, but it was overall disappointing to say the least. We ordered two margaritas and grilled fish tacos, and none were good. Ordered the margs without ice, but they still tasted watered down and not sweet- hard to explain the taste but they were just bad. The fish tacos were also not good- lacking any flavor, period. I'm not sure any of it was salted, and was expecting some lime or a citrus flavor
