The beer was good, but not eating. the frying were not well cooked, were dry and had too much left. the french fries were prepared in a peculiar way. salate were ok. not much choice for vegetarians. too large quantities were not for bad quality and selection. the place was bleak out, but without plants or any decoration to distract them from knowing that they are sitting on a parking lot. at least there are shadows. they can make better in case church.
We stopped by this restaurant during a stroll for a happy hour beer and snack, after months of driving past and saying, "You know? We really need to try this place out." I'm just disappointed we waited so long, but COVID, right? We had some amazing beer in the back beer garden tent (which we appreciated when the wind picked up), but there is also a nice side deck where braver and more warmly dressed people were enjoying themselves. They offer small glasses of beer (8oz, which I wish more places would do) and depending on the beer, they go up to keg sizes. Literally. They have 24 kinds of beer on tap and more in bottles and cans, mostly from local breweries. I couldn't decide what to order, so our server asked what I liked and suggested something for me. It was perfect, and now I have a new favorite beer! For our snack, we shared some french fries (which they called something else that I can't remember at the moment) and they were delicious. They were topped with garlic, rosemary, and parmesan cheese, and served with three different sauces. Wow. Lastly, I want to give a shout out to our server, Ian (hopefully I remembered his name correctly), who was friendly, cheerful, and knowledgeable. He's a great asset to the team! The whole place is fantastic.
Nice place for a drink or meal right in falls church. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, so come here for wine and they’ll set you up. Beer garden in back omg!
Staff is always super friendly and helpful when it comes to making selections. They wear masks consistently which has made us feel safe coming in throughout the pandemic.
