I saw other people waiting for at least 30-45 minutes to eat and it seemed as if they were very short.
I stole my mother-in-law here for Mother's Day. the place was packed and it took 10 minutes until we sat, although there were open tables and we had a reservation. there was a waitress and a bus boy/kitchen that helped to prone to customers. the service was annoying, but the bus boy/kok really tried and apologized and thanked us for our patient, any chance he had. Although it took forever to get our orders, get our food and pay, we got a starter on the house and eating was pretty good. only the brunch menu was available, but the French toast was the perfect thick and had a nice berry-comonie with it. the breakfast pizza (with ice and speck on it) was an interesting idea and the teig had a beautiful texture. my mother-in-law got the iron benedikt and it was a good size. Unfortunately, eating did not come out at once. I hope this place will expose the personal questions, because it has potential.
This is one of the worst experiences in recent history. we had a reservation for Mother's Day and we were not welcomed for 15 minutes. we finally sat down and we set up our job. we didn't get drinks for 20 minutes. the tee was wrong, the coffee had no sugar and they only brought 1 glass water for the 3 of us. we have asked more, but never get the water. it took about an hour to get our food and my 3 year old was a little crazy (all he got was 1 slice French toast). we arrived at 11:30 a.m. and went completely dissatisfied at 1:30 a.m. I tried to talk to the waitress, and she told me that it was busy – there were about 14 tables at the whole place and it's Mother's Day- busy isn't an excuse for terrible. never again.
Food was good, burgers were average but the frozen custard was amazing! Will return sometime just to eat dessert. One can order ice cream cakes there too. Was a decent find for 2 families with teens.
This was a return visit for us on a Saturday at lunchtime. We had been here just a few months before and really enjoyed our meal. What a disappointment! They have switched over to a Saturday brunch menu in the afternoon. If you wanted to select something from the regular lunch menu at 1:00, you were out of luck. We didn’t want to go hunting for another place to eat, so everyone in our party of four agreed to order from the brunch menu. Our meals were delivered one at a time with only one server who was host, waiter, and server, we wondered if he was back in the kitchen doing the cooking too! When I asked for a bit of cheese on my scrambled eggs he said sure, we can do that, but when the order arrived, no cheese. I ordered challah toast, it arrived regular toast. To be fair, the others in our party were very happy with their meals that were served as ordered. Now that we know they only do brunch on a Saturday afternoon, if we are craving a sandwich we’ll go somewhere else. The food was good and fresh but the service was so so. I’m not inclined to recommend this restaurant.
