Plaka Grill - Falls Church

If you've been to the original Vienna location you know what to expect when you come to Falls Church location. The gyro meat is my favorite in the tri-state area with everyone else far behind. My favorite and go-to order is the Chicago Gyro Platter which salad and either green beans or roasted vegetables. The meat is the perfect blend of salt and fat with just the right amount of crisp caramelized edges from being cooked. The Falls Church location is about two to three times larger than the Vienna location with a front and back dining area. Construction is still occurring in the shopping center and hopefully when they finish they will have a nice outdoor dining area.

I ordered delivery through DoorDash and was very impressed with the food. I have been on the hunt for a great place to get souvlaki and I finally found it! I ordered the chicken souvlaki platter and a wrap with the dip sampler and it was delicious. The pita bread was freshly made and even warmed up. While it may be a bit expensive, we felt that it was definitely worth the money.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a truly authentic gyro at this restaurant! The pork meat gyro with fries inside was just like I had in Greece. The quality and taste were perfect.

The Greek dishes at this restaurant are incredibly delicious! The gyro bowl and other meat bowls are excellent. The chicken is also marvelous. This is one of the best value restaurants in Falls Church.

Delicious! Perfect place for Keto diet. Smaller portions but great options. I got the bowl and just asked for the lettuce and added veggies.
