I knew I could pick from the salad bar, and our waitress, Laura, informed me that they couldn't guarantee freedom from cross-contamination. I brought my own fork to serve myself to avoid using their utensils. For my main course, I ordered the Rotisserie chicken and carefully removed the skin. I paired it with plain chips, sweetcorn, and no gravy. The service was exceptional—staff were respectful, allergy-conscious, and offered great advice. There was a two-course special available, but unfortunately, there were no gluten-free dessert options. With the waitress's assistance, I enjoyed a 'deconstructed' chocolate brownie sundae, which included ice cream, cherries, fudge bits, and the brownie and sauce in a separate bowl so that my husband could indulge in those for me. I do feel it wouldn’t be too much to ask for a gluten-free roll to accompany the salad, but I truly appreciated the efforts made to ensure my safety and comfort.
The service was outstanding—respectful, aware of allergies, and very helpful. They did have a two-course deal, but unfortunately, there were no gluten-free desserts available.
