Blackbird Wood Fire Pizza - Fargo

Came here for dinner while in North Dakota on a business trip. I was swayed by the Google reviews about the pizza but am writing my own review for the ambiance and excellent service, too. I walked in and was greeted promptly and with a smile. My waitress was helpful, informative, and happy. Honestly, everyone who had walked by me and works here has a smile on their face one server complimented another server loudly. You can tell they enjoy being here. I loved the little touches the decorations are understated but detailed. There are little blackbirds on the lamps and secret notes tucked into the brick wall holes. It’s really cute. Last, but certainly not least, I had the special this evening which was called Date with A Goat oh my goodness the flavor combo is incredible. Olive oil, goat cheese, figs, honey, red onion, pecans, bacon? Part of me is writing this review just so I have a permanent reference for this flavor combo. It’s SO good. When I come back to North Dakota I’ll be coming here again. What a gem of a place. Dietary restrictions: I didn’t have any dietary restrictions in my order but I was in earshot of the kitchen assemblers be crystal clear about not cross contaminating.

Guy Fieri is never wrong. The pizza was amazing and the service was equally as good!! We will be back for sure !!

This was by far the best pizza I've ever had. The server was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and friendly, even when the restaurant was full. The pizza was delicious, with the best dough I've ever tasted and great toppings. The service couldn't have been better. Highly recommended!

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious! They also have some gluten free options which we appreciated.

The food was spectacular. The waitress we had was very nice although we did have a 15 minute wait. When we were there some people were having a meeting and it was quite crowded but once they left it was more quiet and nice. While waiting we met a fellow teacher and had a nice conversation and got some food recommendations which were very delicious.
