I just spent over $30 on lunch, only to end up paying a $250 towing fee for parking in the wrong spot. The wait was excessively long, especially with two small kids in tow. While the food was okay, I can't ignore the parking issues. Crown Trophy doesn't have any signs indicating that parking is not allowed in their lot, yet they still towed my car. Additionally, Brew Bird appears to have very limited parking available.
We had heard wonderful things about this restaurant from several sources, so we were eagerly anticipating our visit. Unfortunately, once we received our meals and realized how much we had spent, we felt it fell short of the expectations. The dish in the picture was $14 and contained only three small strips of chicken along with a cup of overly mushy mac and cheese. I'm hoping we just happened to visit on an off day. We ended up spending $54 and could barely finish a quarter of our food. The chicken was dry and overcooked. On a positive note, the staff was outstanding. Even though they encountered some technical issues with their internet, they provided excellent service throughout. Because of their kindness, professionalism, and courtesy, we are considering giving the restaurant another chance.
The food is absolutely delightful! The waitstaff provides exceptional service, and the restaurant maintains cleanliness both inside and out. However, because of its popularity and delicious offerings, parking and seating can be somewhat limited. The menu boasts a diverse range of options, ensuring there’s something to suit everyone’s taste! They serve Pepsi fountain drinks along with a variety of adult beverages. The seating is comfortable, and the overall ambiance is enjoyable. One downside is that the menu doesn’t include pictures, which I think would help make ordering decisions easier.
This is a wonderful hidden gem in Fargo! The menu boasts a great variety of choices, but the focus is definitely on the star ingredient: chicken. I tried the weekly special, which included Southwest-spiced chicken on a pretzel bun topped with corn and black bean salsa, Swiss cheese, romaine lettuce, and chipotle ranch. It was incredibly tasty! The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was very friendly, checking in with us a few times to make sure we were happy with our meal.
As a longtime lover of gluten-laden chicken strips, I was pleasantly surprised by the gluten-free options available at this restaurant. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the crust was wonderfully flaky instead of heavy. Their hottest sauce, a habanero salsa, definitely packs a punch. The cheese curds were also impressive, especially considering I’ve tried some of the best cheese in Wisconsin. I had a fantastic time here, especially since my wife could finally enjoy some chicken strips too. The waffle fries were delicious as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return when I’m back in Fargo.
