The yummy food and good pay is nice but it 's the staff that has kept me coming back for the past 10% of my time on earth. Recently Alyce Payne had posted a review accusing our resturant of discrimination in our hiring process. The attached picture features Myles The White One and Kenny The Black One enjoying some entres after the alleged incident. To provide some context the owner had requested that I bring Myles in for a job. This request was made after a performance review of their labor. Kenny has expressed a desire to make it known he never took issue with the owners statement or hiring process, has no connection to Ms.Payne 's review, and never personally perceived this to be a racial issue. I Gage Varian the Sabaidee Dishwasher was giving my friends a job opportunity and such a misunderstanding was a translation issue. Only three employees of our dozen strong staff speaks English as a first language, and I am one of them. We have had employees of all sexes, gender identities, races, colors, creeds, and other backgrounds work here. I have trained many of them personally. I speak for Kenny, Myles, and the rest of the beautiful folks at Sabaidee Thai: anyone is welcome in the front or back of our resturant provided you 're here to work hard or enjoy our food and have a good day!
Place is very nice and cozy. They have some fun drinks that were very good. The food portions are pretty big. I had the spicy duck 3stars for heat, it was not as spicy as I expected but I guess I could have gone with 4 or 5 stars. All in all the food was ok the place is nice and the service was excellent.
Excellent quality, quantity, service, and prompt delivery of food order. Highly recommend if in the area craving some good thai ?
I was passing through town recently, and decided to try out this restaurant. Reading some of the other mixed reviews, I was a bit hesitant at first, but I am glad I stopped by. The food, service and ambiance were great. I started out with the Tom Kha, Coconut Soup. The consistency was a bit lighter (not as creamy) than I had expected, but the taste was delicious; very warm and fresh. Followed that with some great Sushi, the Shrimp Tempura Maki with avocados, scallions and spicy mayo, and it was just delicious. The main entree was an interestingly named dish, Shrimp Love Scallop, and I sure loved it. It had a hearty mix of sautéed Shrimp and Scallop, fresh ginger, snow peas, onions, etc. It was very savory, and again very fresh and nicely done. I was very pleased that I stopped by, and if I am in town again, I will likely stop by again. If you would like to try a good Thai place, I’d say this restaurant is well worth a visit. Parking: Plenty of parking available adjacent to the restaurant.
Large menu, sushi is always fresh when I go. Staff are super kind and friendly but also don't bother you every 10 seconds. Drinks are well made, very reasonable prices for their portions. Sometimes the sushi can take a little bit if you put in a big order, but they always let you know if that will be the case and the appetizers are yummy and still light enough you are hungry for your meal.
