If you want to eat no frills local authentic cuisine this is the place. I have been coming here for years it’s still a great place! Clean, fresh, fast so reasonable. Eat where the locals eat!

Had an amazing lunch at this quaint family run restaurant in Estoi. We were served by the owner Vitor himself, amazing food and service. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have a traditional Portuguese meal. We had the chicken and fish as the main, it also came with bread, salad, rice, fries, wine, beer, coffee, tea and dessert. Total cost of this meal was 44 euros 11 euros/ person, unbelievable! We had a hard time finishing everything that was brought to the table but we managed. We will definitely be back.

If they want authentic local Portuguese cuisine, where many locals go, this is a place they need to go. the owner and his wife run quite all the place and we as a Canadian couple who does not speak a word of Portuguese pass on this busy place during the lunchtime after our visit to the palast of estoi. the host speaks English and helps us in our order. we enjoy eating mainly the lunch special where we order fish pork chops was the other alternative) and it came as a 3-course meal salat, fish/pork, dessert and coffee or wein). the serving of the grills was hugh .... 9 grill fish for two of us! and the taste was like portugiesen as they can get. excellent! When the bill came, we just got to it. only 20 euro for a 3 cursor for two!
