Casa De Pasto Flor Do Roxo - Faro

I think we've been ripped off here. We wanted a meal deal and asked for a fish , the owner said they have only lamb with the deal and we can have fish as a separate meal so we ordered 2 doradas and house wine, the fish was nice but its been spread and there was almost not meat on the one side of the bone, I like fishing and cook fish and I know how the fish looks like) I mentioned this to the owner and he looked embarrassed greedy guy) The price was 20 euros, for fish, 3 small potatoes and salad, its expensive, you can have a much better meal in Faro for this price, I know locals eats there but it looks like a tourist trap

Flor do Roxo is a family run restaurant just up the road from the Adelaide hotel in Rua Cruz das Mestras in Faro. Try the grilled mixed fish with tomato and onion salad and boiled potatoes. The freshest fish I have ever tasted. If you want to try authentic Portuguese food, give this place a go. Our meal included bread and olives and a beer for 10 euros each. Great value for fresh and tasty food.

Really lovely 3 course meal for €10 each. Beautiful wholesome soup, breaded chicken (which was very well cooked) rice, chips and tomato followed by desert . Resteraunt very clean and staff lovely. Can't recommend highly enough. Well worth a visit.

Really beautiful and local atmosphere. eating is very tasty and cheap (compared to the tourist zone). if they want to spend time with portugues people and eat traditional food, is really great!
