We visited the Harbor Inn (AKA Admiral Inn) for a planned event. What a great surprise! The food was excellent and they have preserved a slice of SW Iowa history. The atmosphere was open and comfortable. If you're traveling on Hwy 2 from here to there it's only a slight detour to a wonderful experience. One caution, their hours seem a bit irregular so it might do you to make sure they're open. It's worth your time and effort. This is an update: this place also offers Iowa beef for sale. We picked up a prime rib; it was excellent. Prices are reasonable for the quality of beef offered.

Beautiful and a gorgeous place to get married and have a reception. It does not look much like my old elementary school now. It was fun to see all of the photos of graduation classes from Farragut.

Great prime rib and baked potato all meals(3) were well prepared, served. And consumed
