It does offer sea views but I'm afraid we found the experience more Hornsea then Côte d'Azur. Decor is sea sidey, menus plastic, music via a radio station my prosecco aperitif like turps. Service was sweet caring but not especially polished with white wine served without a cooler drinks without ice until requested. The specialism is seafood we quite enjoyed what we had with odd dishes very good. It's isn't especially cheap with starters around €18/20, though main courses are little more wine relatively inexpensive. To conclude not bad food but underwhelming overall.
I visited on a special day and the restaurant was very busy. I believe both quality of food and service were affected, but the staff should be able to manage if they accept so many guests. Overall quality was good, but we have been waiting for almost an hour for our main course and the different orders were served at different times. Location is great, right on the sea. May be worth another visit in a less busy day.
We spent few days in Capitolo and drove our car few kilometers down the coast to discover this little pearl just by the suggestive coast of Savelletri. We were looking for a nice place to have a seafood dinner and we could not be any luckier : The staff was very welcoming, we had our little dog with us and they did not make any problem whatsoever. We sat inside with the view on the wavy sea (it was too windy to sit outside but the experience was still great . We had the house appetizers and the portions and varieties of fish were very generous and succulent. The fish was fresh and well served. We followed with some risotto ai frutti di mare and mixed fried fish, both courses very filling and satisfying! The restaurant has also a private parking which is very convenient and prices are on average a worthy experience :
Excellent location overlooking the sea, with simple ambience. Own and local fresh products, which are prepared by the owner, so that natural flavors stand out. Without artificiality, healthy.
Our B&B recommended that we try Savelletri for seafood. After walking all through the port checking restaurants, we decided on Da Maddalena and were very glad that we did. The seafood was outstanding and Lucrezia was charming explaining all the dishes and allowing us to watch them being prepared. A perfect lunch experience with great views and great food.
