First time here and service was excellent! Food was cooked perfectly and had a quiet friendly atmosphere. Our waitress had a great sense of humor. Loved it!
Great food. If you're looking for just a classic American breakfast, this is the place!
It's a small place with a regular feel to it but the food is great.. I've never tried anything there that wasn't cooked perfectly..
It?s that time of the weekend that my kids and I head out to explore a new place to eat. This time we checked out M&D Pancake on Yadkin Road. We walk into this cozy place and was greeted and told to sit wherever we wanted to sit. In less than a minute someone greeted us and handed us menus. We looked on the menus and heard that the home fries and the French toast were good. I got the steak omelette with white cheese, home fries, rye toast, and a side of gravy. My son gotthe 2 pork chops, home fries, eggs and toast. My daughter got pancakes, home fries, and bacon. We also ordered an order of French toast which came with 6 pieces and was topped with powdered sugar. Our food took about 10-15 minutes to comeout. My home fries were on the overcooked side but they quickly made me a fresh batch when I told them that mine were burnt. The steak omelette was good. Portion size was just right and there was ample amount of steak in it. I did enjoy therye toast as it is not something I get often. The gravy was good, and I?m pretty picky when it comes to gravy. The French toast was ok, a little too much cinnamon for me but if you like cinnamon, as my son does, it was delicious. Mydaughter didn?t say much about the pancakes but she did eat some of my home fries too as it was well seasoned. Everything was well seasoned and didn?t need to add salt or pepper to anything. Prices weren?t outrageous. Funny how this is ourfirst time eating here considering we have lived in the Fayetteville area for 11 years now. Definitely a place worth checking out.
