I Order chicken shawarma Tablia it is amazing so rich with flavorful chicken shawarma and testy garlic sauce bread is thin and crispy I will definitely go back again????
Really enjoyed my first visit here. I also took a few things back for my coworkers to try and they loved the food as well. There are some really cool looking items in the menu and I got wait to go back and try all the menu items. I tried the falafel and have to say it it was the best I have ever had.
Moved from Cali to Washington a couple of years ago and I have been craving for a good Mediterranean food and saw that they have a 5 Star rating so I decided to try it.The lady was the cashier, the cook, the server and the busboy. Talk about one woman show! This alone is not good if they can’t even afford two people holding the fort it means they’re not doing good and no repeat customers. We ordered the combo, beef, ground beef and chicken kabob and the steak kabob meal. It was the worst food I ever had! All the meat was really tough and very dry! It’s like it’s been sitting for hours and they just reheated it.I asked for butter for my rice and I was told that they do not have butter. I asked for the sumac spice and she sprinkled a bit on my rice. Very stingy on the spice. She wouldn’t leave it on the table because she said she uses it for cooking! The only edible on the plate was the humus and the rice. we couldn’t eat the meat and we hoped that she doesn’t save it and serve to the next customer!Negative zero rating for this place! What a waste of $48 for two meals!
I randomly found this place while looking for dinner take out options near the Planet Fitness gym in Des Moines. It's over by the AutoZone complex. Anyhow, I ordered the Mixed grill combo meal, the Beef Shawarma sandwich meal (substituted fries for rice), Eggplant Mutabal (1st time trying it) and the Basboosa with cream for dessert. The rice was aromatic and delicious, and the proteins were juicy and well seasoned. The humus was to die for and was probably my favorite tasted so fresh and home made. The eggplant mutabal is a cold dip and they give you peta bread with it it was really good tasted a bit like zucchini, which I love. All in all, every dish was really good and the high ratings of this place definitely reflect the quality and taste. The family running the place there seems super nice also.I highly recommend you try it.
