Chef Peking - Fenland

Have bought here for three years, food always good and service generally quick. Just last night we were shocked to be told that the 'free ' prawn crackers now required a £20.00 spend which is high for just the 2 of us. Really disappointed since the prices have also gone up recently! Might now consider going elsewhere, pity!

Where’s the flavour? How can a curry have no taste? Save your money or go to J B Fish Bar for your Chinese food! The little scrote who served on the counter was incredibly rude When we got the food home tasted in we phoned to complain because we had eaten a bit of the food we were not entitled to our money back......how does that work? I’m baffled as to how we can taste the food complain without actually tasting it?! Anyway we complained the owner said we must have damaged taste buds that we were the issue not their **** food.

The absolute best Chinese food in the area. Portion sizes are perfect, food is delicious and service is always top notch.

A meal for two at Chef Peking will consist of the usual but be prepared for tons and tons of carrots! It's a trick....fill the portions with carrots, onions or peppers and leave out the Chinese vegetables as they cost more money. The sauces were either bombed in salt/MSG or sugar and almost inedible. They glowed not really keen on putting that in my body. Also, keep a gallon of water in the fridge for about an hour later the meal, you are going to need that. Spare ribs were good, prawn crackers are difficult to screw up. Twenty One Pounds I've wasted on this appalling food and the first and last time we shall collect food from this place. Oh, just to add, the street bum who delivers the food for Chef Peking is also a drug user. He had a joint by the front door, went in to collect his deliveries and then got in his car. He was ranting on about something insane as he waited for his deliveries... I called the police to inform them of drug driving. Still, makes the Chef Peking all in all a unique experience and one I won't repeat. Go elsewhere.

Excellent service, able to swap bits about on set meals, unfortunately we use them all to often !! Always collect so food hot and fresh
