China Garden - Fenland

Haven't even tasted the food yet, as once again having to wait, even though we ordered 1 hour in advance for a specific collection time. The food is usually nice, but the customer service is poor, as is the time keeping. Stopped coming for a while but due to a family get together thought we would try again. Will probably be the last time.

We have used China Garden many times over an number of years, and spent a great deal of money there in the past. We ordered a quick takeaway this evening for delivery. You got our order wrong. We rang straight after delivery only to be told that if we wanted what we originally ordered, we would have to pay again. Im sorry, but this was your mistake, you repeated the correct order back to us over the phone. If this is how you treat loyal repeated custom, then good luck to you. We will not be using you again.

Sadly, it is hit and miss these days. One night the food can be outstanding the next a bag of rubbish. Tonight was the rubbish; I asked for well done crispy chips and got the same old stodgy, blanched ones. Either the message is not getting through to the kitchen, or the chefs are ignoring it. The rest curry, sweet and sour chicken, rice was all at different temperatures from almost cold to slightly warm. The fact I had to go back and change to the correct curry was not really an issue. It's the overall quality that is poor.

Used this place for over a year food is consistent one of the better Chinese takeaways in Wisbech always good and friendly service from the girls at the counter

Just had a order from some where I have used for over 20 years and the chicken is pink and raw. Rang up to complain and I’m not correct about the food and I know nothing! Totally crass service and a stuck up little phone operator Avoid this place if you value your health
