Canadian Steak Fish Sandwich - Fenton

Website advertised as being open until 7pm. We arrived at 5:15pm and they were completely closed. No explaination. No sign on the door. Nothing.One of the workers had even arrived to try to get his paycheck while we were there. He was not surprised that they were closed.

The waitstaff was lovely. The monte cristo sandwich tasted like the chicken was old and very rubbery, the fries tasted like they were cooked in the same oil as the fish. The restaurant is quite dark as well. The worst part was how the cook was treating the waitstaff, he was rude and condescending and threw things at them.

We were the only customers in the restaurant around lunchtime so our food was hot off the grill. My perch dinner was delicious! The cook prepared my green beans on the flat top grill and they had some char on them but were so good I ate them all before trying the fish. My sister had an omelette which was full of goodies. Atmosphere inside very cozy, cabin like decor. Staff very friendly. Menu had many delicious options. Support this local small business!!

Always so nice to have great service after along day! Awesome food had a rib eye cooked to perfection and fresh green beans that were awesome!

Lots of items you can't find on a menu anywhere else. Great food, friendly staff!
