Frida’s Mexican Kitchen Narrabeen

Thanks to Matt, Lee and the wonderful team for the great food at my party. My guests were well fed and Matt went above and beyond to look after some with special dietary needs.

A great place with a great vibe. Staff were friendly and the food tasted great. Ordered a chicken quesadilla to share and it was great. Then we ate a burrito each and had the dessert nachos. All was really enjoyable. My only feedback would be for the price you pay, you expect a tiny bit more. For example you pay $15 for the dessert nachos which the menu says comes with vanilla ice cream. For $15 you would expect more than one tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream. Even two would be better. Also the burrito was really nice, but for $16.5 maybe put a small side salad on the plate too. Paying a lot and just getting a burrito feels odd. You get chips and a salad with a burger or schnitzel/steak usually, so doing the same with a burrito would be good. Besides this issue I honestly loved this restaurant and would recommend you check it out!

Busy small restaurant with attentive and happy staff. Good range of Mexican staples. Food is tasty and well made. Perhaps a little expensive for what you get esp vegetarian options.

Very filling, unpretentious Mexican fare in Narrabeen. Generous portions and reasonably priced. The frickles were very moreish! The frozen mango passionfruit margaritas were highlights. Really friendly staff and fun, casual atmosphere. The complimentary salsa (hot barbecue one) goes well with everything.

Probably the best Mexican place I’ve been to since I went to America 10 years ago. The prawn tacos are incredible, the pork tacos have a deep flavour make sure you ask for the green salsa to compliment it. The owner is friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
