It's just something different from other restaurants(it'slike homemade food). I usually drive more than 40 mins just to go there and enjoy eating their food. Staffs are nice people with high level of customer service. From what I've seen, i think it's family business. Overall, it does worth a try then you will be addicted to their delicious food. Allah yatikom Afiye guys!
Absolutely amazing food, variety of interesting dishes, full of flavour. Really friendly and helpful staff, they go out their way to make sure you enjoy your experience. We discovered this restaurant by chance when we needed to go to Granville. What a pleasant surprise! Strongly recommend. Thank you very much for looking after us here.
These people are so nice.. I was fasting and waiting my take away order and when they call for prayer, they offered me date and soup. So generous of them! And the food here is so Delicious. I highly recommend this place. Thanks for your kindness.
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool also the staff is also really friendly. You can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Highly recommend Jasmins for authentic taste of Lebanese food.
Another Lebanese restaurant to add to my favourites! This was my first time eating in Granville and I am happy this was the first place I tried. The venue is nice, spacious and gives off cosy vibes with warm interiors and fabric draping from the ceilings. There are little things around the place that just remind you of Lebanon which is nice considering no one can travel there right now! We were warmly welcomed by the owner and we were so excited to see what he was going to prepare for us. Once the dishes started coming out, we knew this was going to be one delicious feed. I mean, look at the spread! We were brought out pickled turnips and cucumbers, tomato, chilli and fresh red onion to accompany the dishes that were about to come out. Honestly, I can just eat pickled turnips alone and all day, every day! Out came the dips.. hummus and baba ganoush. The hummus was smooth and presented beautifully and the baba ganoush had the right amount of smokiness to it. All you need is a little fresh Lebanese bread to enjoy the gorgeous flavours from these dips. For a little freshness, we had the traditional Lebanese salads. The tabouli was dressed beautifully and was not dry at all. I don’t usually eat fattoush but this was just delicious! Fattoush is simply tomato, lettuce, shallots, radish, parsley, garlic topped with fried bread and dressed with grenadine and extra virgin olive oil. The fried bread is a great way to top off the dish! As well as my favourite vegetarian dishes, we also got to try some of the delicious meats. We received a platter of chicken, lamb and kafta. They were juicy, tender and not dry at all.. simply cooked to perfection! I love grabbing a piece in Lebanese bread and dipping it into the garlic sauce. That’s the best way to enjoy it. And what’s a meal without fries? These were freshly prepared and the first bite was amazing. Crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. Hot, golden potato fries.. my favourite! The last thing we got to try were the falafel, fried kibbeh and cheese sambousek. This had to be one of my favourite plates! Fried falafel can sometimes be too oily but this was perfect. It was crispy and the colour on the inside was gorgeous. My favourite way to eat falafel is with the tahini sauce and with the pickles. It’s a great balance between the flavours of coriander, cumin and various herbs and the sourness of the pickled turnips and cucumbers. Finish it off with a bite of the sweet chilli and it’s a party in your mouth! Everyone is familiar with kibbeh nayeh but have you ever had it fried?! Inside this oval shaped mezze is mince meat, pine nuts and spices. I love having this with hummus. The cheese sambousek.. wow! I wasn’t expecting such a cheese pull with this one and I was willing to burn my mouth for it. It was so delicious and the cheese was so good. I could have eaten like 10 of these. Probably the best cheese sambousek I’ve ever had simply, no lie. I’ve said it before and I will say it again, traditional Lebanese is my favourite. This restaurant served it up and it just felt like I was in Lebanon eating their food. Whilst I don’t live anywhere near this area, I would definitely come back. I think Lebanese banquets are great for a big group so next time I come, I’ll bring a lot more people!
