My relations eat here often and say that it is always good, and for our visit recently, that was no exception. Good Chinese food, quite tasty but not heavy at all and all good value. Good drink selections from the club which it is part of. Friendly service and simple but comfortable setting. It is a bit hidden away to go into club and up the lift, but worth finding.

I used to go to the Kingsford restuarant while studying at UNSW and they were the best dumplings. I loved the place because they would make the dumplings in front of you via the glass panel. Fresh is best. I walked by the city place because I work in the cbd and noticed the city location! Its much more roomy and the plates are beautiful. Guess what though...you can still see them making the dumplings! I had dumplings a few times this month at some old favourites and was eager to compare these after so long. I don't know if I can go anywhere else as these are just that much better its not even fair to compare. Hands down best place.

This restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of a club. Although open to the public, you will need to register yourself before being allowed to enter. We were pleasantly surprised to find authentic tasting, delicious Shanghainese cuisine here, many of the dishes are much more well-cooked than the restaurants in Singapore, which was really unexpected. Do try the soup dumplings (xiao long bao) and pan fried buns (sheng jian bao). The hot and sour soup is also good. Stir-fried vegetables are lightly cooked to retain their crunchiness and colour. Highly recommend.

A hidden dumpling gem in the city! The food is always very fresh and the dumplings are amazing. I highly recommend the pan-fried dumplings. There's a large selection of food so make sure to bring some decisive friends with you! You may need to show your license before entering since it is above a club.

The food here is incredibly authentic Probably the best shanghainese soup dumping 小笼包 . It is a close as you can get to eating in Shanghai!!
