Feedback gevenFinally got a chance to try this Portuguese chicken burger. Owner recommended their Ole chicken burger. Asked for medium level heat and got exactly that. Chicken was tender and juicy, burger bun was perfect, so were the condiments not overloaded with mayo and other fattening sauces. Confidently finished the meal without that guilty feeling I normally had with KFC or other fast food. Strongly recommend. Service was quick and friendly. Strongly recommend.
Ole has dropped off a bit in the last year or two, but the key trick I still use is to ask for extra chilli in the burger, and get a combined chilli-prego sauce on the side for the chips. The chilli used to be really strong, but they've softened it up a little bit. Their prego is also a bit hit and miss now, with the mix being a bit off balance at times. Otherwise the burgers are mostly the same..
Ole is the sole reason I decided to stay living in Kensington and commute to work 2 hours per day. It's burgers are tender and juicy with the perfect balance of crunch and succulent chicken. On late nights home on the train the thought of ole sustains me.
Best burger in Sydney!. Came here for lunch today and was amazed at how good the food was. I had the prego burger along with chips, which were both delicious. This was one of the best burgers I have ever had in Sydney. The service was equally good, if not better. Istrongly recommend this place to everyone.
Back to ole again today, burgers still good, the chips really really need to try, it's crunchy and fresh, by the way, the sauces are great with chips on the side. Friendly staffs with great service. My friends and I has been eating in ole for 7 years already, we have to say, ole is the best taste in eastern suburb! Amazing place!
