Feedback gevenWithout a doubt, this place offers the best smoked meat in Sydney. My favorite is the brisket burger, but the pulled pork is incredible as well. Everything is smoked in-house, and all the meats are incredibly tender and melt in your mouth. Just thinking about it makes me hungry—I can't enjoy burgers anywhere else now!
This place truly delivers the essence of classic American BBQ! I highly recommend trying the share platter, as it allows you to sample a variety of dishes. The brisket is absolutely phenomenal! Additionally, the overall decor is spot on. I love this spot!
This evening, I was on the hunt for something to eat and decided to drop into this restaurant. I noticed a young guy (sorry, I just finished high school, so I’m calling you young because the presence of you and your lovely wife makes me feel young!) taking a picture of a drink that was coming out of what looked like a beer tap, but I later learned it wasn't actually beer. We started chatting, and I found out that he was one of the co-owners. I was invited to sample some Southern US comfort food, and I have to say, it was incredible! I jokingly commented about their lack of grits, but then I realized how few Australians would a) know what they are and b) appreciate the taste. I was also given a backstory on how they came up with the restaurant's name. Trust me, this place is far from the dank, musty joints with Formica tables and plastic tablecloths that you'd often find in many Southern BBQ joints. While the restaurant still has some remodeling to be done, it’s family-friendly with outstanding, high-quality food. I truly believe this is exactly what Cremorne needs—great food, great people, and none of the usual pretentiousness that's often found in the area. I was really impressed by the friendly couple I spoke with. Good luck with your business, guys! I’ll make sure to come back the next time I'm in Sydney, so you’d better be open! Totally worth the trek. Melt in your mouth brisket was epic. And the brisket beans would be on a plate for my last supper!
I tried the Ribby McRibface burger, slaw, chips, and the Mac n cheese bombs. All were fresh and delicious, and it is evident that only the best quality ingredients are used. This is by far the best barbecue in Sydney, and it doesn’t leave you feeling like you have a bowling ball in your guts, even though the portions are huge! Super value. I also love that you can go there with mates or a family all seem welcome. Friendly and efficient service, and the kitchen area looked as clean as a whistle.
