Underground Kitchen - Fergus

We had a delicious chicken roti. The Roti itself was a little undercooked, but the filling was absolutely delicious. Would definitely stop in Fergus for the next time.

All I had was always excellent, easy on the stomach. Matt is a master of mixing and mixing spices and foods.

The Vegetable Roti was disappointing, as it only had potatoes, a few chickpeas, and a minimal amount of sauce. The potatoes were in large chunks and undercooked, while the sauce lacked authentic Jamaican flavors. It seemed like store-bought curry powder was the only seasoning used, and the price was too high for the low-quality dish.

I stopped here to take our first trip to Fergus. Had the chicken roti, it was delicious like the Chutney, and the part was huge. We are happy to support quick friendly service and the type of family business. Bonus is the beautiful location next to the river. We'll be back.

We are huge fans of the Underground Kitchen. Whenever we are in Fergus, it is always our first choice. The location is fantastic, the atmosphere is cozy, and the food is incredible. We highly recommend it and are eagerly anticipating our next visit.
