Halftime Sports Grill

We’ve been coming to Amelia Island for a few years now and have always driven/walked by Overtime Grill, but never ate there until this trip. Overtime Grill is an absolute hidden gem, and it’s just a short walk from Downtown Fernandina. All of the appetizers sounded great, but we ended up choosing the pretzel bites and queso. The pretzel bites were crunchy on the outside, but soft on the inside and paired well with the slightly spicy queso. We both chose the pork belly burger and it was one of the best burgers we’ve had anywhere. Just the burger patty itself was seasoned well and cooked perfectly, but the pork belly and spicy Asian slaw added another dimension to the experience. The pork belly gave it a smoky bite while the Asian slaw gave it a bit of a spicy crunch. The sweet sauce on the side gave you the extra flavor if you wanted it, but the burger had plenty itself. The crinkle fries were seasoned perfectly and were delicious too! If you’re in the area, Overtime Grill is a must visit!

This place is a hidden gem in my opinion. We sat outside. Had the fish of the day grouper sandwich and crab cake sandwich with some beers.. it was awesome. Service was great.. the ladies were so nice and friendly. Definitely saved to go back after our beach days. Awesome spot for food and beers

Food was amazing, especially the nachos and fried mushrooms! Nice outside patio with live music and plenty of tvs to watch baseball on!

Awesome wings and poutine. We had the Thai chili and honey mustard bbq and they were off the chain
