Fun bar to celebrate hard. Had some drinks and laughed. Comfortable place to play.

Nice old bar in the small town of America setting. Some kind of bar where the locals have a drink. I recently showed up someone living in Ferndale. I've heard about the palace for a long time. Maybe. I expected more, but it wasn't bad. When we showed up, it was a rather slow afternoon (that changed later, as there was a big holiday party in the city). The bartender was attentive. There was a pretty decent selection of beer on tap. Good drinks were made perfect for those who ordered them. NFL was played on the two TVs. What can you ask on the lazy Sunday afternoon? There were a few billiard tables on the side that always seemed to be in use. We came out later to eat a bite (no food offered here). After we finished our meal, we decided to go back to the palace. At that time the crowd had filled the bar. Besides the bar area there was no place. We had also added some people to the group, and with the crowd the bartender could not get up. We were pretty limited what we could order. To keep it simple for them, we just ordered a few shots and called before we found a place to watch the parade. To summarize it. Old local bar, which is a good place to get a drink when you're in town. Nothing beautiful and it doesn't have to be. Other seats can be helpful. Only cash. Bring the green!
