As the building, and I suspect that the business are for sale they may not be much time to visit this gallery and restaurant. I've recently eaten with friends. the food was excellent. that's not a hot kitchen. it is really good to cook home. we chose the meat and guinness pies, chicken cakes and speck and eggs. all were good and very tasty. other diners were tablespoons that were great and the diners said they were very good. the rest is not licensed, but check their website as it can be. service was friendly and efficient. highly recommended.
Lovely old guest house coming into Hamilton from Hobart Pleasant ambience, lovely garden, beautiful views Well worth the stop
We wanted sandwiches for lunch. This restaurant made fresh sandwiches on bread of our choice, followed by scones, jam and cream. Yum. There was a quality craft gallery attached, mainly wood glass made by local craftspeople, from local woods etc.
I had a disappointing lunch at this restaurant. The service was not very friendly. I ordered the beef and guinness pie. The filling was tasty, but the puff pastry lid was cold and tasted stale. The salad was decent, but they initially brought us vegetables instead of the salad we ordered. Overall, I would not go back to this restaurant.
