My dad has been visiting this restaurant for years, but recently the parking rules changed. Now, you have to pay for parking unless you're a customer. He went in and gave his car registration to the bartender, but a few days later he received a £100 fine (or £60 if paid within 14 days) because they had entered the registration incorrectly. When he returned for an explanation, the staff were unhelpful and dismissive. I would say proceed with caution if you visit. We won't be returning.

The exterior was quite worn, and the restrooms were dirty and in need of renovation. On the positive side, the beer prices were fair, and the beer lines were well-maintained.

This pub seemed to prioritize drinks over food. The staff, however, were extremely friendly and accommodating.

This is a hidden gem! It's a quiet place with pool tables and a friendly staff, creating a wonderful atmosphere. There's a spacious smoking area with plenty of tables. While Wetherspoons may be cheaper, it can't compare to this spot. They've donated over £2,000 to charity but are still struggling due to COVID. It's definitely worth stopping by for a pint and a meal – you won't regret it!
