The Mexican restaurant inside gave us a trucker discount. We were shocked because no one does! We were grateful because the food and service was amazing!!! Thank you for reminding the truckers!

The Mexican restaurant offers delicious food, but they could use more staff. Like many places, they tend to get overwhelmed during busy times. Unfortunately, we were forgotten and left without drinks while our carne asada steaks arrived without a knife. Luckily, most of the meat was tender enough that I could manage with just a butter knife and fork, but the rest went home with us. I recommend visiting before the dinner rush to avoid similar issues.

I had a quick stop in Fernley and just needed to use the restroom. Everyone I encountered was incredibly gracious, smiling, and made me feel welcome as an obvious stranger—what a refreshing experience! The place has a charming hole-in-the-wall vibe, but it’s been tastefully renovated and updated. This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I'm passing through Fernley!
