The first place we entered would not serve us Too late, they said, although the place was three fourths filled. So, we walked down the street and entered, without much hope, L 'Archibugio. They were very welcoming, but apologized that the kitchen was closed. They said, however, that they could serve us the house specialty, a delicious pumpkin filled tortellini, accompanied by tasty local wine and followed by coffee and tiramisu. The tortellini was declared best dish of our trip by my discriminating spouse. Afterwards, we stayed around to watch them make these tasty morsels for the dinner crowd. First, they made the pasta from scratch, then hand stuffed the pumpkin spread and folded the pasta to form the tortellinis. (You can see a photo of this process on their website. Well, we still had two more hours of driving through the rain, so we reluctantly gave major thanks and moved on. This is one of those experiences that Italy specializes in walk down the street, enter a restaurant and receive a warm greeting and a delicious meal.
Superlative! very friendly and helpful staff, very varied menu. typical dishes of the Ferrara tradition made with passion, excellent value for money!
Very cozy place, eat simple and goose. prices in the norm to try!
I went with friends at noon. I ate well. typical Ferrara. homemade pasta. large parking lot. good price quality ratio.
I've been there several times and it's a good restaurant, I recommend it. the dishes are very good and delicious, both traditional Ferrara (the chaplains are always among my favorites) and pizza where they also make special variants and absolutely to try. the place is spacious and there is also a large veranda outside for the beautiful season. very easy to reach since it is a stone's door paola along the dock, just outside the city center.
