Thomas Moore Tavern - Ferrybank South

Had a beautiful meal here last night! Lovely, quaint setting, friendly helpful staff and a varied menu, (with some unusual choices which was nice to see . Service was prompt, portion sizes were very generous and food was very tasty. Overall we found the value very good for the quality of the food! We will definitely revisit when we're back in Wexford. Welcomed by friendly staff who gave us menus to peruse while we ordered our drinks They have large screen TVs with premiership games on with the sound off so as not to impede on your experience The wifi has good reception The menus have a wide range for all dietary requirements We ordered scallops and chowder to start Ste said the chowder was 'pucker ' Rib eye and salmon for mains The salmon was seasoned to perfection The rib eye was tender served with an amazing garlic and chilli dip The onion rings are tasty light and plentiful They pour a nice pint of Guinness to boot Nice clean toilets I can highly recommend

It covered all my needs the food was excellent menu interesting, Gin of the week I liked that option. Staff was polite and friendly and appociable. Went into the bar and there was Man Utd playing Benfica on the screen watch the second half that was good option. Then we had music traditional Irish just what I wanted. 10 out of 10 !!!

Loved it, brilliant food, staff excellent and great with kids even on a busy Friday night. Would highly recommend it if your in Wexford.
