The food was decent, with a few vegan choices available. It's important to communicate your dietary restrictions clearly to ensure they can accommodate you. We visited Yalla Yalla at their previous location, where the terrace was charmingly filled with cats.
I would strongly recommend not going to this restaurant. First of all, they tried to overcharge me by double the menu prices and were rude when I questioned it. Secondly, I specifically asked for no cheese on my taco, but it was still filled with cheese. The server even laughed about it. My vegetarian friend still ate it so it wouldn't go to waste, but said the food was only mediocre.
We were looking for Yalla Yalla in the city and the locals told us that it had been moved. It is now located next to the Café Granada on the roundabout near the bus stop Bartha. It's Yalla Kool now. You need to specify your wishes as veganism is not very common there. If you order a veggie pizza without cheese, you will not be disappointed. Make sure you have the packages without yogurt. There are not many options, but let's face it: as a vegan in Morocco you will be happy to find something else after several days of constant couscous and tadschine:D
The food at this restaurant is delicious and the service is good. We enjoyed our meal here twice. The Zaalouk (Eggplant Dip) was particularly delicious, so we ordered it both times. The falafel was well packaged, and the salad was served on the side. The Harira soup was also delicious. We also tried the beans and tacos, which were served in a pack. We had the yogurt removed but the dish was still tasty and came with fries.
This sit down outdoor restraunt is conviently located just outside the blue gate, which was perfect for my tired hungry navigating skills after a long day in the medina. One of the staff spoke English which made ordering easy. They had vegan and veg options labeled, and even helped us to revise a non vegan dish into a vegan one for us. The food was yummy and the service was friendly!
